Say Cheese!

Ella's new pose when we get the camera out!

Big Girl Curls!

Ella striking a pose with curlers in her hair for the first time!
And the result! Beautiful bouncy blonde curls! Big girl!

Henry Doorly Zoo!

We headed to Omaha for our annual zoo trip with Bamma at the beginning of the month!
Here we are, ready to take on the zoo!

Ella and daddy in the butterfly exhibit.

Ella on one of the butterfly chairs outside of the exhibit.
We were so happy to see how much Livy enjoyed her first trip to the zoo!  We were disappointed that the aquarium was closed for renovations, but Olivia was very busy taking in all the other exhibits.

Bamma and Ella checking out the monkeys!

As always, Ella loves to climb! She enjoyed the lion above after recently watching The Lion King and the elephant below after watching Dumbo.

Apparently Ella also likes to climb on her daddy!
Crossing the bridge in the rain forest!

Monkeys?

Both Livy and Ella enjoyed hanging from the vines in the rain forest!

Look at that tongue!

This will be one of those pictures that we embarrass Livy with when she is older! As we strolled through the Rhinoceros exhibit (as you can see in the background), Livy's drink soaked her outfit. So what is a 10 month old to do...well apparently just strip down to her diaper and change her clothes next to the Rhinos! Sorry Livy, but it was pretty cute! I swear, no one saw!

Yummy! Nothing like an ice cream cone break at the zoo!

We made it! Another great visit to the zoo!
Bamma getting Livy ready for her first time swimming in the hotel pool!

Aww Livy, we love that bikini body gorgeous girl!

She is so precious!

Pumpkin Patch!

"Swimming" in the Corn Pool!
We went to one of the local pumpkin patches last weekend.  We ended up staying for over 4 hours, having so much fun.

Little Miss No Fear Ella, loved jumping from the hay bales, in to the corn.  We were happy to see that she actually hesitated a few times.
Ella loves the story of The Three Little Pigs, so she was excited to see that there were 3 little houses to play in.  One of straw, one of sticks and one of bricks.
Ella giving the one of the Three Little Pigs a kiss.

Feeding the goats.
I love seeing Livy in this picture!  Last year, Ella and I took a picture with this horse while I was pregnant.  I remember thinking how a year from that point, we will have the blessing of another baby.  We are so fortunate to be able to share these fun, special days with both of our incredible gifts.
Ella was not impressed with the cow roping.  Whenever we go to Hy-Vee for groceries, she gets to ride the mechanical horse.  She must have thought the cow was mechanical.  When it didn't do anything, she hoped off and said, "this cow is broke, lets go"!
Jumping on the giant "pillow".
The big slide!  So much fun, we could have done this all day!

First Movie!

The Lion King in 3D
We took the girls to see their first movie last week!  Ella really enjoyed it and loved getting her own bag of popcorn!  Livy was a bit restless as she is wanting to spend all of her free time honing her crawling skills.  At one point, I took her to the back of the theater to walk around with her.  A few minutes later, Ella noticed that we were gone and Bob told her where we were.  So Ella then decided to stand up in her seat, wave and shout out, "hi Momma, hi baby sissy!"

Feeding the Ducks!

Ella "shushing" the ducks and geese we went to feed the other day.
Another daughter who looks just like her Daddy!
Daddy and his girls!
Mommy and her girls!
What a diva!
