Livy's First Walk!

Livy all bundled up for her first walk!  Flashing her gorgeous smile, what a pretty girl!  The whole family is ready for warm weather!  Thanks for this adorable snugly outfit Aunt Megan, it is perfect for our walks!

Ella was excited to have Livy join us on our walk!  We can not keep Ella inside now that the weather has turned warmer.  She is constantly running to the door shouting "I go, I go"!

Livy made it about a block before she zonked out!  The fresh air did us all good!

Ella and Olivia playing.  It is so much fun to watch the two of them together.  Ella is so involved with Livy, she is always bringing her toys and checking in on her.  She asks for "sissy" every morning when she wakes up.  Olivia has really started watching Ella as well.  She defiantly knows when her big sister is not around.

Nap Time!

This one really threw me!  We have a video monitor in Ella's room and I was looking at it to make sure she was down for her nap and didn't see her in her bed.  I snuck into her room to check on her and still couldn't find her!  Finally I saw her curled up in her shoe bin!  The big decision of what shoes to wear for her nap must have taken it's toll on her and she crashed.  Looks like she was able to fit her blanket and few stuffed animals in there with her however!

This must be the result of full out exhaustion!  Foot up on the guard rail and belly hanging out!  She must have even been to tired to pick out shoes for her nap!

Is Ella in there somewhere?  She also likes to build little forts in her bed with all of her pillows and stuffed animals.  Apparently she decided to build one on top of her before this nap!

Many times Ella will get out of bed and go over to her shoe bin to pick out suitable shoes for napping.  As you can see above, boots seem to be the choice for this nap!

I guess with the older Ella gets, the harder she plays, and harder she crashes!  Here a few of her most recent napping styles I have found her in!

More story time with Grammie.  We think Ella has officially changed Grammie's name to Bamma.  Bamma stayed with us during my first week back to work from maternity leave since LaRee, our daycare provider was on a much deserved vacation to Disney World with her grandkids! 

Thank you Bamma for everything!!!  You made the huge transition week go smoothly.  We would not have made it without you!  Once again, all your cooking, cleaning, laundry, and taking care of the girls was awesome!  We love you!!!

I Dressed Myself!

Ella put this ensemble together one day while daddy was at work.  She was asking for daddy and I told her he was at work, so she put on his hat, gloves and slippers, and headed for the door calling for daddy!

Ella has been busy latley dressing herself.  Luckily she has not become a little diva, refusing to wear certain clothes.  Instead she will wear what we pick out for her, but she MUST put it on herself!  Also the fashion law according to Ella is that it is cool to wear socks with sandles - but only if they are pink sequin sandles!
