Pumpkin Patch!

"Swimming" in the Corn Pool!
We went to one of the local pumpkin patches last weekend.  We ended up staying for over 4 hours, having so much fun.

Little Miss No Fear Ella, loved jumping from the hay bales, in to the corn.  We were happy to see that she actually hesitated a few times.
Ella loves the story of The Three Little Pigs, so she was excited to see that there were 3 little houses to play in.  One of straw, one of sticks and one of bricks.
Ella giving the one of the Three Little Pigs a kiss.

Feeding the goats.
I love seeing Livy in this picture!  Last year, Ella and I took a picture with this horse while I was pregnant.  I remember thinking how a year from that point, we will have the blessing of another baby.  We are so fortunate to be able to share these fun, special days with both of our incredible gifts.
Ella was not impressed with the cow roping.  Whenever we go to Hy-Vee for groceries, she gets to ride the mechanical horse.  She must have thought the cow was mechanical.  When it didn't do anything, she hoped off and said, "this cow is broke, lets go"!
Jumping on the giant "pillow".
The big slide!  So much fun, we could have done this all day!

First Movie!

The Lion King in 3D
We took the girls to see their first movie last week!  Ella really enjoyed it and loved getting her own bag of popcorn!  Livy was a bit restless as she is wanting to spend all of her free time honing her crawling skills.  At one point, I took her to the back of the theater to walk around with her.  A few minutes later, Ella noticed that we were gone and Bob told her where we were.  So Ella then decided to stand up in her seat, wave and shout out, "hi Momma, hi baby sissy!"

Feeding the Ducks!

Ella "shushing" the ducks and geese we went to feed the other day.

Girls Day at the Zoo!

With Daddy a work one gorgeous Sunday, the girls and I decided to head over to the Blank Park Zoo in town.  Here are the girls as we headed in.
(I swear I fed Ella before we left, I'm not sure why she is eating Livy's foot!)
Since the zoo takes about 30 minutes to go through, (I am glad we have it, but it is certainly no comparison to Omaha's fantastic Henry Doorly Zoo) we decided to get Ella's face painted.  Ella being Ella, she didn't pick the cute little butterfly face, she picked the tiger.  That's my girl!  But, adding a touch of girly flare, she requested a pink tiger face.
She loved the end result and proudly strutted around the zoo with her new makeup!
As I tucked Ella in for her nap, she gave me this adorable little tiger smile.
What a fun day with my girls!

Ozarks!

These Momma's came ready to party!

Megan and I took advantage of our kid free vacation with our hubbies.  We did all of the important vacation activities: drank, shopped, drank, ate junk food, drank, went swimming, drank, went on the wave runners, drank, went on the boat, drank, played sand volleyball, drank...  We had a great time!  I love ya sister!

Not to mention, we scored some awesome new jewelry and super cool "perfect for anything and anywhere recycled newspaper" baskets from our new favorite Ozarks store Artsy Fartsy!
Happy hubbies, they were able to get in their 18 holes of golf!
Do they look sober...um, not really!
The Swanson's!
The Grier's!
We were so happy to be able to go down once again for our annual Lake of the Ozarks vacation at Point Randall Resort http://www.pointrandallresort.com/ - the BEST PLACE TO STAY IN THE OZARKS!!!   It was awesome to have Ben and Megan join us this year!

As always, our dear friends Michael and Paulette Spriggs who own Point Randall spoiled us rotten, by hooking us up with the wave runners and taking us out on their boat.  They are an awesome couple, with awesome children.  We were glad to be able to spend time with their kids Brody and Kathleen, it helped give us a "kid fix" when we were there!  Unfortunately I don't have any pictures that turned out this year of the Spriggs family - Ugh!  (Hmmm, the lack of quality pictures could be due to the fact that for once I was not pregnant in the Ozarks so I was drinking!)
Thank you Michael and Paulette for everything - we love you!

Our last day there, Spriggs's took us out
to a great pool bar with Rum Runner drinks that knock you off your feet!  Then later that night, we went to Bump's Barefoot Bar, a tradition we started last year, for dinner, drinks, karaoke and dancing!  So much fun to be on boat at night!  Needless to say the drive home the next day was a little rough, after the previous days mixture of beer, tequila, rum and whiskey!

A HUGE thank you to Bamma for watching the girls, and Nana and Papa for watching the boys while we enjoyed our kid free getaway!  We appreciate you helping us out and the kiddos love spending time with you.  We love you all!

Iowa State Fair 1st Timers!

Smooch baby sissy!
These girls are excited to meet Uncle Ben, Aunt Megs, cousins Carson, Brady,
and the whole Grier family at the Iowa State Fair!
Getting the troops ready at the Grier campsite.  Carson and Brady joined us for the photo op.
I love this picture, it is the visual aide I use to convince Bob how great it would be for us to have at least 4 kids!
Ella and Carson - too cool for the fair?...
...nah, just pacing themselves!
The chubby babies!
Brady and Olivia, full of smiles, ready to explore the fair...

Don't ya just want to crawl in there and snuggle with them!?!?
